Gold and Dollar Rates in Pakistan Today — Friday 6 November 2026: 24K Gold Rs 421,125–435,500 per Tola, Dollar Flat at Rs 276.60–277.10
Gold in Pakistan opens Thursday, 5 November 2026, holding close to the high it reached on Wednesday, while the US dollar stays flat against the rupee. The 24-karat gold rate this morning is Rs 423,999 to Rs 429,384 per tola, depending on the source — a range, not a single rate, because sarafa, bank and dealer quotes differ. That range sits astride Wednesday's All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) close of Rs 426,036 per tola, which itself jumped Rs 13,900 on Wednesday from Rs 412,136 the day before. In other words, Thursday morning is a pause after a big up-day, not a fresh breakout — yet.
One tola equals 11.664 grams. All figures below were freshly checked on the morning of Thursday, 5 November 2026, and are given with their source and time. Rates move during the day, and the price a shop actually quotes you can differ from every figure here because of making charges, purity checks and the dealer spread.
The table below shows why this post gives a range. Each source uses a different method — a sarafa benchmark, a live dealer stream, or a spot-derived calculation — so the honest morning picture is the spread between them.
24K gold, per tola, Thursday 5 November 2026, morning:
- Hamariweb, APGJSA: Rs 423,999 per tola, updated 05:25 AM PKT; Karachi sarafa also Rs 424,000 per tola.
- GoldRateUpdate: Rs 424,000 per tola, updated 09:00 AM PKT; Rs 363,520 per 10 grams; Rs 36,352 per gram.
- PakGold, Rawalpindi-Islamabad sarafa benchmark: Rs 427,212 per tola (live stream, 07:32 AM PKT; sarafa confirmed 01:20 AM PKT); Rs 366,265 per 10 grams; Rs 36,627 per gram.
- Goldratesdaily: Rs 427,571 per tola; Rs 366,579 per 10 grams; Rs 36,658 per gram.
- Goldify, spot-derived: Rs 429,384 per tola; Rs 36,813 per gram.
Headline range for 24K gold today: Rs 423,999 to Rs 429,384 per tola, and Rs 36,352 to Rs 36,813 per gram.
Lower karats are priced from the 24K benchmark in Pakistan, so they move with it. This morning's sourced figures are:
- 24K: Rs 423,999 to Rs 429,384 per tola; Rs 36,352 to Rs 36,813 per gram.
- 22K: Rs 388,776 to Rs 393,602 per tola (Hamariweb Karachi 22K Rs 388,776; PakGold 22K Rs 391,611; Goldratesdaily 22K Rs 391,940; Goldify 22K Rs 393,602); about Rs 33,569 to Rs 33,603 per gram on the PakGold and Goldratesdaily calculations.
- 21K: about Rs 375,711 per tola on Goldify's calculation.
- 18K: about Rs 322,038 per tola on Goldify's calculation.
Silver is quoted at Rs 5,606 to Rs 5,850 per tola across the same sources this morning — again, a range, because silver quotes differ by dealer and method.
International spot gold is trading around $4,141.74 per troy ounce this morning (Finnhub, live), with other live spot trackers around $4,126 to $4,141 per ounce. That is up from the roughly $4,060 level at Wednesday's close and well above the $3,936 to $3,958 range seen on Wednesday morning — the international rally is what drove Wednesday's Rs 13,900 jump in Pakistan. One troy ounce equals 31.1035 grams. When spot gold rises and the rupee is steady, the rupee price of gold in Pakistan usually rises with it; when spot falls, the local price usually follows, with a lag for the local premium.
The dollar is unchanged this morning, which is part of why the gold story is about the metal, not the currency.
- Interbank (State Bank of Pakistan / bank TT rates): buy Rs 276.60, sell Rs 277.10 per US dollar — unchanged from Wednesday (Hamariweb interbank table, 4 November 09:20 PM PKT; CalcuPK, checked 5 November 03:43 AM PKT, same range).
- Mid-market reference: Rs 276.62 to Rs 276.70 per dollar (Goldratesdaily 08:30 AM PKT: Rs 276.62; Searchable.pk: Rs 276.70, unchanged since 4 November; Finnhub live: 276.663).
- Open market (cash): buy Rs 277.25, sell Rs 279.50 per dollar (CalcuPK, Forex.com.pk data, 5 November).
In plain terms: Rs 100 buys about $0.36 at the mid-market rate, and $100 converts to about Rs 27,660 to Rs 27,710 at interbank rates, before any bank fees or dealer spread. Exchange companies and banks quote their own buy and sell rates, so always confirm the rate for your exact transaction.
First, do not treat any single number in this post as "the" price — check the live quote from your own jeweller or dealer before buying, and ask whether making charges are included. Second, after a Rs 13,900 single-day jump, Thursday morning looks like consolidation: the range has not broken above Wednesday's high in any sustained way, and it has not fallen back toward Tuesday's Rs 412,136 level either. Third, the dollar's flatness means today's gold move, if one comes, will most likely come from the international spot price rather than from the rupee. For savers, that makes the spot price and the APGJSA board rate, expected later in the day, the two numbers to watch. For jewellery buyers, the per-gram figure plus making charges is the number that decides what you actually pay.
